The WAGO Foundation offers additional incentive by granting the foundation prize to the best trainees of the year. These are trainees based in the Minden-Lübbecke district, where WAGO is headquartered, or in the Kyffhäuser region, the home of our largest production facility, and in the Nordhausen district. The final examination, overseen by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, must be completed with a grade of 2.0 or better. The prize winners will be informed of their achievement by the respective chamber. The prize is awarded each fall during and is marked with evening festivities.

  • Industrial mechanic
  • Construction mechanic
  • Cutting machine operator
  • Tool mechanic
  • Mechatronics specialist
  • Process mechanic for plastics and rubber
  • Electrician for operating technology
  • Electrician for devices and systems
  • Technical product designer
  • Industrial clerk
  • Electrician, Energy & Building Technology
  • Electrician, Automation Technology
  • Electrician, Information and Telecommunications Technology
  • Machine and system operator

The first three award winners receive the following prizes:

  • 1st place: EUR 1,000
  • 2nd place: EUR 750
  • 3rd place: EUR 500
