The successful candidate will:
- Effectively develop and execute sales of automation solutions in assigned accounts
- Follow up quotations, commercial negotiations and persuade/convince customer to place the order with us.
- Have in-depth knowledge of process related products in the areas of automation.
- Identify, define, and develop the best technical solution and strategy for customer applications
- Serve as a consultant on all applications and corresponding WAGO solutions and technologies, including a working knowledge of our Automation solutions that are applicable to the engineering community.
- Fully utilize the CRM system as a communication, reporting, measurement and tracking tool to enhance productivity.
- Conduct product and technology seminars (in-person and web-based) as necessary at assigned account base.
Qualification Requirements:
- University Degree – Automation/ Electrical degree preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of Sales and industry experience on the automation market preferred.
- Sound technical background in the areas of automation (PLC, motion, Robotics, SCADA, etc)
- Knowledge for IEC programming languages (SFC, CFC), Python and etc.
- Very good command of English (spoken and written), German is a plus.
- Solution oriented approach and strong Can-Do attitude
- Good strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Essential Job Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability for business trips around the country
- Timely reporting of expenses, sales call activity, and opportunity tracking (not to exceed two weeks).
