Skupiny zařízení zvyšují bezpečnost

Stejně jako zařízení se i plyny, výpary a prach dělí do různých skupin v souladu se svými vlastnostmi. Toto dělení zjednodušuje výběr správného zařízení pro různé plyny, výpary a prach.

Až do zavedení normy EN 60079 0:2009 se zařízení schválená pro použití v prostředí s nebezpečím výbuchu dělila do dvou skupin. Nová norma definuje tři skupiny: 1, 2 a 3.

Dělení skupin zařízení

  • Skupina I: Zařízení určená k použití v dolech, které mohou být ohroženy důlním plynem.
  • Skupina II: Zařízení určená k použití v prostředí s nebezpečím výbuchu plynu (mimo doly)
  • Skupina III: Zařízení určená k použití v prostředí s hořlavým prachem (mimo doly)

Elektrická zařízení skupiny II se podle druhu výbušné atmosféry dále dělí do skupin IIA, IIB a IIC. Toto přiřazení se týká ochrany před nebezpečím výbuchu typu „pevný závěr“ (Ex d) a „jiskrová bezpečnost“ (Ex i).

Zařízení určená k použití v prostředí s hořlavým prachem se podle druhu prachu dále dělí do následujících skupin:

  • hořlavý textilní prach
  • nevodivý prach
  • vodivý prach

Směrnice, normy a ustanovení

Požadavky na elektrické přístroje do prostředí s nebezpečím výbuchu mají několik rozmanitých vrstev: Dodržovat je nezbytné národní i mezinárodní ustanovení, směrnice a normy, které zaručí dosažení nejvyšší možné úrovně bezpečnosti. Druhy ochrany

V prostředí s nebezpečím výbuchu je povoleno používat pouze zařízení s ochranou proti výbuchu. Kategorie ochrany před nebezpečím výbuchu představují konstrukční a elektrická opatření uplatňovaná v zařízeních a zároveň sekundární ochranu před nebezpečím výbuchu.

Iniciační zdroje

Nelze-li v pracovním prostoru vyloučit vznik výbušné atmosféry, uplatňuje se sekundární ochrana proti výbuchu. Mezi sekundární opatření se řadí vyloučení veškerých zdrojů vznícení ve výbušném prostředí.
