The energy meters use the Push-in CAGE CLAMP® with lever, allowing them to connect quickly and easily. The devices have a width of just 72 mm for direct measurement; versions for current transformers are only 36 mm. These slim profiles save a tremendous amount of control cabinet space.

Especially easy handling: Our energy meters have a large display for operation, which makes the most important data available at a glance in a clearly organized form and offers integrated touch-sensitive control elements. They are operated using the integrated touch-sensitive controls.

In addition to saving time, CAGE CLAMP® connection technology increases safety, since a durable, reliable contact is guaranteed over the entire service life. Space within the control cabinet is valuable – so, despite their large displays, we made our new energy meters as compact as possible. The direct meters have an installation width of 72 mm. The version with a converter connection is especially narrow – just two division units (36 mm).

An All-in-One Solution from a Single Source
WAGO Current Transformers and Energy Meters (MID)
Plug-in current transformers for billing measurement join WAGO’s range of current and energy measurement solutions. These transformers comply with the conformity assessment procedure (module D) and are perfect for combination with the new WAGO Energy Meters (MID) to form a complete solution. A quick-mount kit allows easy, cost-effective installation. A large number of mounting options give users tremendous flexibility. The new plug-in current transformers are used in applications where the current of large consumers cannot be measured directly. A real-world example is measuring manufacturing machines’ energy consumption in order-related production or when individually billing the energy consumption of each tenant in distributed properties.
