Product Overview

Our Relay and Optocoupler Products

Pluggable Control Relay

Our sockets with miniature switching relays offer the perfect combination of a housing solution and electronics. These relays are ideal for switching applications in industrial and process automation. Our portfolio includes relays with one changeover contact, up to a maximum of four changeover contacts, from dry circuits to lamp loads. In practice, the sockets allow rapid relay replacement for servicing without disconnecting the wiring.

The Benefits for You:

  • Comprehensive commoning capability on the control and contact side
  • Quick and easy relay replacement in the event of a fault
  • Push-in CAGE CLAMP® allows direct insertion of conductors without additional tools
  • Status indication in the relay for visual monitoring
  • Ex approval (Zone 2)

Relay Modules with Miniature Switching Relays and Optocoupler Modules (859 Series)

The 859 Series Relay Modules with miniature switching relays and optocoupler modules are ideal for interface levels in all industrial applications. Their slim design saves you space in the control cabinet. Simple commoning on the control and load side also allows you to quickly daisy-chain common input and output potentials.
Your Benefits:
  • Versatility: relay modules for DC and AC use
  • Slim 6 mm (0.236 inch) housing saves space
  • Flat design for optimal use in terminal boxes
  • Jumper slots on the front for clearly organized cross-connections
  • LED for status signal indication
  • Proven CAGE CLAMP® connection technology

Control Relay on a Rail-Mount Terminal Block

The relay modules plug directly onto the carrier terminal blocks of the WAGO TOPJOB® S and Classic Rail-Mount Terminal Block Systems for easy, secure installation. The combination of rail-mount terminal blocks and relay modules eliminates the need for an additional wiring interface.

The Benefits for You

  • Extended input voltage range for use in battery systems
  • Use in an extended temperature range (OT 4)
  • Ideal for railway applications
  • High vibration and shock resistance
  • Relay modules are more robust than elementary relays for replacement

DIN-Rail-Mount Carriers with a Miniature Switching Relay (287/288 Series)

WAGO's fully wired DIN-rail-mount carriers with a miniature switching relay (287/288 Series) provide direct, in-the-field switching of actuators and other coupling elements. They also permit fast and easy peripheral signal connections.

Advantages:

  • Faster and easier connection of peripheral signals
  • Pluggable relays for rapid and simple replacement
  • Easily connect conductors ranging from 0.08 to 2.5 mm2 (28–14 AWG)

Relay Modules in a DIN-Rail-Mount Enclosure
(789 Series)

WAGO's 789 Series Relay Modules serve a wide variety of applications, from basic lighting control in building installations to industrial control cabinet installations. Just 17.5 mm (0.689 inch) wide, the compact DIN-rail-mount enclosure is ideal for distribution boards and meter cabinets.

Advantages:

  • Up to two break contacts and make contacts, or four make contacts
  • Available with manual operation
  • Commoning on each level via push-in jumpers
  • Clearly identified connection points
  • LED indicator for switching status

Sockets with a Miniature Switching Relay or a Solid-State Relay
(857 Series)

WAGO's sockets with a miniature switching relay or a solid-state relay are the perfect combination of housing and electronics.

Advantages:

  • Pluggable MSR and SSR for DC and AC applications
  • Same profile allows the use of a single in-line, push-in jumper
  • Quick, easy replacement of relays in case of failure
  • Tool-free connection via Push-in CAGE CLAMP®
  • Ex approval (Zone 2)

Sockets with an Industrial Relay (858 Series)

WAGO's DIN-35-rail-mount 858 Series Relay Sockets are designed for conventional industrial relays with standard pin spacing. These sockets carry relays equipped with two or four changeover contacts. During maintenance, they allow quick relay replacement without removing conductors.

Advantages:

  • Push-in termination of solid and ferruled conductors from 0.5 mm2 (20 AWG)
  • Dual conductor entries with Push-In CAGE CLAMP® connection technology
  • Manual operation in case of failure or during commissioning
