Whistleblower System
Compliance with laws, especially in accordance with the German laws: "Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz" (Whistleblower Protection Act) and "Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz" (Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains), regulations and internal guidelines has the highest priority at WAGO. Only if these regulations are followed can we prevent damage to our company, our employees, and our business partners, as well as third parties, and fulfill our responsibility to society and nature. Misconduct must therefore be recognized early on, dealt with, and stopped immediately.
To ensure this, everyone needs to be vigilant and willing to report serious potential rule violations and legal violations where there is concrete evidence. This applies to suspicion of:
- Bribery, corruption
- Fraud of any kind and embezzlement
- Environmental and Occupational Safety
- Violation of social standards and human rights
- Data Protection and Information Security
- Competition and antitrust law
- Export controls
- Tax law
- Violations against the ZVEI-VDMA Code of Conduct
