5G 是工業 4.0 的關鍵技術

全球 5G-ACIA 倡議計劃在整個工業生產中建立新的行動通訊標準，為數位化鋪路。WAGO 作為會員積極推動發展。
5G 技術有望為當前幾代行動通訊帶來決定性優勢：它將實現實時數據傳輸。數據速率將提高 100 倍。此外，與當今的標準相比，5G 基地台中可以運行的設備數量要多得多，而有了 5G，傳輸過程中的中斷將成為過去。所有這些都是未來關鍵技術不可或缺的要求 – 例如自動駕駛、遠端醫療或生產設施聯網。

WAGO 在 5G-ACIA 中扮演重要腳色

新的行動通訊標準對於 WAGO 來說意義重大。“5G 對我們來說極其重要，因為除了快速的行動聯網之外，我們還可以選擇在工業應用中使用相同的技術”，Schmutte 說道。機器的數位化將為公司開闢許多新的選擇：它構成了新服務產品和商業模式、生產效率提高、狀態監測、預測性維護和所有生產流程的連續記錄的基礎。Schmutte 表示，5G 和數位化還將提供保留數位客戶介面且不會失去其他公司服務的機會。

工業通訊新要求範疇

5G-ACIA 一致認為，5G 將顯著提升工業生產的靈活性、可轉換性和生產力。由於新行動通訊標準的巨大潛力，WAGO 積極致力於 5G-ACIA。Schmutte 表示：“我們了解工業應用的未來通訊需求，並正在 5G-ACIA 中儘自己的一份力量來滿足 OT 行業的需求。” 該倡議目前正在製定工業通訊要求範疇，該範疇將納入 “第三代合作夥伴計劃” (3GPP) 標準化委員會的工作中，該委員會正在計劃於 2019 年 12 月發布下一個 5G 規範 “第 16 版”。

可靠的工業本地網絡

在德國和其他國家，5G 將提供只能供工業使用的所謂 “私有” 頻率範圍。德國的這一選擇可以追溯到德國聯邦網路局的決議。此辦公室負責授予 5G 頻率，並明確保留了部分頻譜用於工業和其他本地應用。3.7GHz 至 3.8GHz 之間的頻段不會納入全國招標，而是在 2019 年下半年直接授予申請機構。

工業對網路品質的要求非常嚴格：對於未來的工廠來說，它必須是特殊的，並且與標準公共行動通訊網路脫鉤，並且安全、獨立和高效。所有利害關係人目前正在研究未來如何運營本地網路。
