Reliable under Extreme Conditions: XTR Controllers

First choice for tasks in adverse environmental conditions: Extremely temperature-resistant, immune to interference, as well as unfazed by vibrations and impulse voltages – these are impressive features of WAGO's XTR Controllers.

Automate wherever where others capitulate: The XTR Series Controllers not only impress with their cold/heat resistance, but also with their high immunity to impulse voltages. This makes them the efficient and secure solution for demanding applications in shipbuilding, renewable energy systems, substations and energy distribution, the process industry, the water and wastewater industry, special-purpose mechanical engineering and railway applications.

Your Benefits:

  • eXTReme temperatures: −40 °C … +70 °C
  • eXTReme isolation: up to 5 kV of impulse voltage
  • eXTReme vibration resistance up to 5g of acceleration

Suitable for Your Applications

We support our customers with the right hardware and associated software for every application. Whether process technology, shipbuilding, the energy industry or classic mechanical engineering – we have the perfect controller for your application.

Mechanical Engineering

Cutting costs, increasing performance, meeting the requirements of Industry 4.0 and producing more flexibly: Machine and equipment manufacturers are facing many challenges in the manufacturing and process engineering industries. WAGO provides with innovative solutions, cutting-edge technologies and reliable products to help you thrive in these challenging times. Read about successful customer projects and learn how to make your company fit for the future!

Process Automation

In this industry, the safety of people, a clean environment and safe, trouble-free plant operation are crucial. The possibility of use in hazardous locations is also a frequent requirement in the chemical, energy, gas and oil production industries.

Marine and Onshore/Offshore Automation

Use in these areas requires assessment and qualification by independent classification societies (e.g., ABS, GL, LR). More than half of the 20 tests administered relate to EMC. The results achieved from these tests permit operation on marine diesel engines exposed to vibrations and in the EMC-sensitive area of a vessel’s bridge (compass approval). Of course, these properties also mean they can be used in other industries at no additional cost.

Railway Systems

Whether railway vehicles, signal technology or train stations, WAGO products can be used almost anywhere electricity flows or signals are transmitted and converted in the railway industry. It’s not without good reason that operators, manufacturers and suppliers of railway and signaling systems count on WAGO. We have pioneered new electrical interconnection technology since 1977. It all began by moving away from screws – and to spring pressure connection technology – to set standards in railway technology.
