“You can only optimize what you measure.” The WAGO IoT Gateway for infrastructure automation was designed according to this principle.
Sensors capture production data from the system, transmit it to the WAGO IoT Gateway for pre-processing, and then provide it to the IT network or the cloud for analysis and process optimization. Based on the WAGO I/O system, the solution guarantees compatibility with a wide range of field signals from various industries, with up to 500 different I/O modules currently available. The gateways feature multi-communication lines, allowing them to simultaneously connect with higher-level systems and cloud architectures through up to four parallel lines.
