The new 221 Ex Series (gray levers) brings you all the features you love of the 221, now for extreme and hazardous applications. 221 Ex must be used in conjunction with the mounting carrier to fulfill Ex requirements.
  • Easy, fast and reliable connection technology for products in hazardous locations
  • Connect solid, stranded and fine-stranded conductors; 24-12 AWG
  • Connectors obtain AEx (class 1, zone 1) rating when used in conjunction with the mounting carrier
  • Mounting carrier can either be clamped onto a DIN rail or screwed tightly to any smooth surface
  • Rated up to 440 V with spacing between adjacent connectors in the mounting carrier; rated 275 V without spacing
