There Is Only One: The WAGO Splicing Connector
From initial market skepticism to global success: Despite strict regulations and opposition from competitors, WAGO achieved a breakthrough 50 years ago with the 273 Series Splicing Connector. The idea behind it was to eschew screw connection technology and use spring pressure to clamp a conductor, saving time and money. Since then, the splicing connector has developed into an international market standard, becoming a staple in any toolbox. We celebrate our motto, “Simple, Fast and Reliable!” every day; this year, we’re marking the occasion with a shower of confetti. Because “There is only one!”
Always on the Cutting Edge
WAGO’s story has been one of impressive success, and the company has continued improving spring pressure connection technology throughout the past decades. Looking to the future, we are increasingly focusing on sustainability. This is why we have put a new spin on one of our most popular products: the 221 Series Splicing Connector. The 221 Series Green Range is produced from partially bio-circular and recycled plastics, making it significantly more sustainable than its predecessor. Similar to what we did then, we want to take major steps in connection technology and make it clear: Nothing is too small to positively impact our environment.
