Building and Power Distribution Cabinet Construction

The WAGO Cabinet Wiring Robot excels in building and power distribution cabinet construction, offering significant advantages, particularly in applications involving mechanical assemblies that are frequently standardized – such as mounting frames with 250-mm wide fields.

It is ideal for projects with low variation between orders and a limited selection of electrical components, including:

Control Cabinet Manufacturing

The WAGO Cabinet Wiring Robot is ideal for control cabinet manufacturing. It primarily enhances the series production of identical control cabinets by handling the pre-wiring during the commissioning process and supplying one-sided, pre-wired rails as semi-finished products. This allows for the efficient production of large quantities of identical control cabinets, provided a positive feasibility analysis is conducted.

Additionally, the robot can handle control cabinets of various sizes, where mechanical assembly often occurs on mounting plates with cable ducts. A wide range of electrical components can be installed, including:

Fully Automated Conductor Preparation Station

The conductor preparation station holds up to 16 conductors for processing based on demand. It automates the selection, measurement, cutting, stripping on both ends and crimping of ferrules, saving the operator from a time-consuming process.

  • Simultaneous access to up to 16 conductors
  • Conductor cross-sections from 0.5 to 2.5 mm²
  • Conductor lengths from 300 to 2500 mm
  • Fully automated selection, measurement, cutting, stripping on both ends and crimping of ferrules
  • Optional conductor marking

After ferrule treatment, the conductors undergo a pull-out quality test. Upon successful verification, the finished conductors are handed over to the operator or wiring robot.
