Our Fairs and Events

Events and trade shows offer the opportunity to establish direct contact with customers and potential customers and to establish personal relationships. Through such events, a brand can convey its values and messages authentically and strengthen the trust of the target groups. The brand image can be consolidated through an inspiring event. In this toolbox on the topic of events and trade shows, you will find various options and modules for visually making your event a complete success.

Design Modules

The design elements can be divided into five modules: logo, typography, image, infographic and illustration. The background color of a module must always be applied over the entire surface. A module cannot have two background colors. Except for the logo module, which should always be on the outside (preferably on the left), the remaining modules can be freely combined and freely scaled without a hierarchy. How many modules can be combined depends on the size of the area to be recorded.

Module Layout

Each module can be divided into two parts: The upper part contains only the headings and if applicable, the subline. In the lower part, you can set body text, among other things. Its placement at eye level ensures good readability in small sizes. Text should not be placed 1 m above the floor of trade fair walls and other elements.

Logo

The logo has its own logo module. The base logo module is located on a trade show wall, preferably on the left. Depending on the height of the wall, the WAGO logo sizes are as follows:

  • 5 m wall: 180 cm
  • 4.5 m wall: 150 cm
  • 4 m wall: 130 cm
  • 3 and 3.5 m wall: 120 cm

Base Unit

The base unit defines the protection zone, the WAGO-O from the logo. The base unit can be used to define the distances and the design grid.

Content

The content always starts below the height of 2.70 m. The distance between the contents is derived from the WAGO-O. It is 25% of the WAGO-O.

Example

Typography

The headline can be freely scaled upwards. It is aligned with the base unit above the eye level. The subline is also aligned at the bottom of the grid and has a minimum font size of 60pt. Volume text and captions are always below the eye level line and have a minimum font size of 40pt.

The headline is set in Lexia XBold. For WAGO, Lexia is always used in Versalia. The minimum font size of the headline is 120pt. The subline is also set in Versalia, but in the Lexia Light font style. It has a minimum size of 60pt. Quantity and introtext are set in the Aktiv Grotesk. Bodytext and captions in medium-font, introtext in Bold. The minimum font size is 40pt.

Imagery

Images can be used in different ways:

  • Larger images can be placed across several modules.
  • Multiple images can be placed within the design grid.

Illustrations

Illustrations shall be placed within the grid and on a white or gray background.

Icons

Icons should be set in WAGO white, green and black. In combination with font, the text is set to equal height, the icon with a unit below it. If the trade show wall layout allows, icons can also be placed centrally on a module.

Examples

Specials

Steles

Steles with a raised banner ensure an optimal long-distance effect. They should be designed simply so that the messages are conveyed as succinctly as possible.
