AGV/AMR: Custom Integration of Your Assets

Do you already have an existing infrastructure or building control system (BMS)? WAGO offers flexible integration of your infrastructure – such as elevator/door interfacing – into fleet management software that supports standardized communication per VDA5050, for example. A broad portfolio with a large number of interfaces, such as KNX®, BACnet® is available. This makes it possible to easily integrate both AGVs and AMRs into your production and to transfer the roller gate data (open/closed) to the fleet manager. This ensures that gates and elevators are activated precisely when required by the transport process. Our automation solutions make it possible to modify your existing BMS or, if necessary, to completely reintegrate it, with a focus on reliable and precise gate control. WAGO also offers the option of integrating end position switches for gates – either with IP67 or IP20 remote I/O systems – to ensure optimal control and safety. Our WAGO Building Management is the ideal solution for specifically monitoring your technical systems within the intralogistics and intervening as needed.

Intelligent Fleet Management

AnyFleet – The Intelligent | WAGO Stage Automation Platform

Idealworks GmbH’s intelligent AnyFleet automation platform is a cloud-based solution for fleet management. Mobile robots can be easily and securely integrated via the VDA5050 interface, regardless of the manufacturer. The software enables centralized, efficient coordination of material flows, integration with systems such as ERP and WMS, and provides detailed insight into system performance to increase operational efficiency. The integration of our WAGO IoT Box allows all peripheral devices to be easily integrated into the fleet manager via OPC UA, REST API or MQTT. Additional mobile communication paths and corresponding buffers ensure secure and smooth processes.

Industrial Trucks

Both AGVs and AMRs belong to driverless transport vehicles with their own drive. They are designed to pull or transport materials. Because both AGVs and AMRs are driverless, the integrated technology must be especially robust. WAGO offers this with the maintenance-free interconnection and PCB connection technology, rail-mount terminal blocks and vibration-proof industrial controllers that are used on the robots’ motherboards. Charging/Load Management for Electric Industrial Trucks

The topic of e-mobility is ubiquitous today and affects not only cars on the roads, but also industrial trucks in industrial areas. In order to ensure efficient and cost-effective vehicle charging while avoiding peak loads, intelligent charging and load management is required. WAGO Application Load Management (WALM) is a dynamic load management system for regulating the total charging power at a grid connection point, taking into account the maximum connection capacity. WALM helps prevent peak loads when charging electric industrial trucks. In addition, our solution enables seamless integration into higher-level systems and offers direct communication with the fleet manager to ensure optimal power regulation and improved energy efficiency.

Conveyor Belt

In the area of intralogistics, conveyor belts are essential for fast and precise transport of goods, such as bulk and piece goods. The means of transport often cover long distances in a fully automated manner. The conveyor belt is driven by a pulling or pushing drive. The WAGO Power Supply Pro 2 for 48 VDC or 24 VDC guarantees a constant, fail-safe roller drive. It is particularly important to take into account the starting moments, which are necessary in order to efficiently supply the roller drives with power and thus guarantee smooth start and operation of the conveyor belts. In addition to an efficient power supply, the intelligent communication interface can also collect data, providing a foundation for analysis. The “WAGO Library Analytics” software solution for WAGO Controllers allows you to analyze, evaluate and optimize processes without leaving the familiar PLC programming environment. This makes it very easy to implement mechanisms and detect anomalies with the help of the WAGO library. Unplanned downtimes are a thing of the past.

In addition, we offer custom, pre-assembled cables that enable fast and safe installation on site. These tailored solutions, such as our WINSTA® System, are ideal for individual requirements within a production facility and contribute to shortening installation times and increasing operating efficiency.

Automation Solution for Warehouse Technology

Why is automation so important in warehousing technology? Warehouse automation supports you in making processes safer, faster and easier.
