Un plug-in rende i controllori WAGO pronti per l'IoT

Unendo l'IT e l'automazione, ogni componente della gamma di controllori PFC WAGO può essere trasformato in un controllore IoT connesso al cloud utilizzando un semplice aggiornamento software di MQTT.

Successo aziendale con il cloud

Registrare, digitalizzare e collegare i dati in modo redditizio: questo è il concetto alla base di Industry 4.0. Un semplice aggiornamento trasforma i controllori WAGO PFC100 e PFC200 in controllori per l'IoT in grado di trasmettere i dati dal livello di campo al cloud, il luogo in cui questi dati possono essere aggregati e utilizzati per l'analisi. Ciò crea un reale valore aggiunto per le aziende, ad esempio per aumentare l'efficienza della produzione interna, implementare la gestione energetica negli edifici o sviluppare ulteriormente i servizi per i clienti finali. Anche i sistemi esistenti diventano pronti per l'IoT, rendendoli a prova di futuro. La gamma di controllori PFC di WAGO costituisce quindi la base per un mondo aziendale sostenibile.

Flessibile e costruito per il futuro

Con pochi semplici passaggi, entrambi i controllori PFC100 e PFC200 di WAGO possono essere trasformati in un dispositivo IoT installando un aggiornamento firmware e programmando una applicazione IEC con la libreria corrispondente. Seguendo questi passaggi, le informazioni come Run/Stop, stato della connessione, informazioni sul dispositivo e variabili definite nel programma IEC possono essere trasmesse a un cloud e visualizzate. Il cliente può decidere se il controllore invia i dati a Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services o IBM Bluemix. Anche i collegamenti a soluzioni di terze parti saranno fattibili in futuro grazie al protocollo MQTT standardizzato. I dati vengono trasmessi in file JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) e il collegamento viene crittografato tramite TLS.

L'utente può agevolmente eseguire l'aggiornamento del software in un browser Web usando il sistema Web-Based Management (WBM) di WAGO. Sono inoltre incluse le librerie per CoDeSys 2.3 ed e!COCKPIT. Con WBM sono anche configurati i dati di connessione cloud. Le variabili che saranno trasferite nel cloud possono essere definite usando il programma IEC: il programmatore detiene sempre il controllo.
